Before their introduction to Altvia, IVP had a basic desktop database software to manage their Limited Partner contacts and interactions. However, it was apparent that the program could no longer support the level of growth the firm had experienced. What makes IVP’s story unique is they went through the technology buying process twice. The first solution IVP migrated to was built by a consultant and very quickly turned out not to be the right fit. With both time and money spent, and the team feeling fatigued from the initial implementation process, they knew the second time was critical for the firm’s success.
