All you Need to Know about the Upcoming Salesforce Winter ’14 Release
Its Salesforce new release time again and over the next few months, Salesforce users will start seeing the new features in the Winter ’14 release. Winter ’14 will include the usual changes to Salesforce’smodules Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data.com, and more, but for AIM users, making sense of how the changes will affect you is a bit tricky so we’ll help you make sense of it.
As we’ve said before, we understand that there is often no way for AIM users to understand where AIM stops and where Salesforce begins. Much of the great functionality in our private equity CRM (AIM), we’ve built in-house, but there are a ton of other features that are native to the Salesforce platform. This illustrates one of the great benefits of being built on Salesforce—we can build out alternative asset management software-specific functionality of AIM and we can also rely on the continuous innovation of Salesforce.com to help our users take AIM even further.
With this Winter ’14 release (as with most releases), Salesforce puts out an enormous document (this time its only 217 pages) that outlines all of the upcoming changes. So we’re hosting this quick webinar to outline the changes that are most relevant to AIM users. Some of the things we’ll be covering are:
- Historical Trend Reporting
- New Chatter Features
- Charts on Page Layouts
- Enhanced Lookups
- Salesforce Mobile App Features
