Salesforce Touch now Available for AIM Fund Management CRM Users
Salesforce Touch–a version of Salesforce that’s designed specifically for touchscreen mobile devices–is now updated for 2013 and has some updates for AIM users.
The Spring ’13 release still doesn’t have all of the functionality of the full browser version of AIM but the Touch interface is now a viable option for AIM users as it now provides access to standard Salesforce objects such as accounts and contacts as well as custom objects in AIM such as interactions and entities.
Another bonus for AIM users is the ability to view dashboards in Salesforce Touch. Users can view recent dashboard data, see components in detail, and search for dashboards.
Touch is still just available for the iPad, but support for additional device types—including the iPhone and Android tablets—is coming soon.
