Altvia Correspond Investor Edition Upgrade

Since Correspond Investor Edition launched in 2014, we’ve learned a lot from our users. In the 2020 upgrade, we’ve incorporated requests and feedback and moved the product onto Salesforce’s latest technology, the Lightning Experience. Correspond’s new interface comes along with a host of great, new features, a better user experience, and improved stability.

Across Altvia, teams will transition you smoothly to an upgraded Correspond Investor Edition. Configuration work associated with this change is minimal — meaning little to no system downtime for you and your team. We’ll be with you every step of the way, with all services free of charge.

The new Correspond Investor Edition features removed many of our friction points and will save us time with each batch. I appreciate that we still have the same core functionality and a familiar flow, but with an elevated UI and more built in sanity checks to give me confidence that our LPs are getting the documents they expect.

NEW FEATURES

IMPROVED Audit Functionality

Seamless and accurate communication methods are core to Altvia Correspond Investor Edition. That’s why we’ve incorporated the ability for multiple audit steps throughout the batch process. Rest assured, information is split and shared correctly with these key features.

  • Set Master Investor Contacts (MICs) for a standard set of Contacts for an Account
  • Quickly spot-check data from your template documents with the merge data inspector
  • Send drafts to ShareSecure for a final spot check on documents, recipients, and categories

More Flexibility to Track & Send Documents

Do you need to send a specific document to only GPs invested in a fund or only LPs? Use report-based filters to send batches to a subset of Investors in your Entity. From there, make more informed decisions for deals and fundraising with the ability to drill down to individual contact performance stats.

    • Use report-based filters to send batches to a subset of Investors in your Entity
    • Quickly determine what percentage of recipients have received, opened, and clicked through to your documents
    • Use charts to filter through your deliveries to verify results and fix or resend any failures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did Altvia make this change?

Since launching Correspond Investor Edition in 2013, we’ve learned a lot from the 1.6 million deliveries we’ve seen go out the door. With the upgrade, we’ve worked to incorporate as many user requests and as much of your feedback as we could, in addition to moving onto Salesforce’s latest technology, the Lightning Experience.

I have a few unique ways I use Correspond. Will I still be able to use these on the new version?

We’ve worked incredibly hard to maintain all the primary workflows in Correspond Investor Edition, and our client beta testers have assured us that they can do everything from legacy Correspond is in the new version (and more!). That being said, if there’s a way that you use the tool that we’re not aware of, we’ll work with you to make sure you’re still able to get your investors their documents.

What will the transition look like?

Across Altvia, teams have been preparing to transition you smoothly to an upgraded communications experience. Configuration work associated with this change is minimal, meaning little to no system downtime for you and your team. We’ll be with you every step of the way, with all services free of charge.

Will it cost money to upgrade?

No. Our team will work with you to get up and running on the new interface, free of charge.

Do I have to upgrade and how can I sign up?

Yes. We’ll work with you and your team to accommodate your schedule, but all Correspond Investor Edition clients will be required to move to the enhanced version by September 2020.
